Deed conditions & art licence Voiddeeds | 2026-10-19.2 | https://voiddeeds.xyz/deed-terms The functions of a Deed and the personal and commercial art rights granted to its holder. What the token controls A canonical ERC-721 Deed records ownership of one application space. The current owner configures its USD toll, optional recipients and supported space information. It does not confer ownership of another builder’s code, assets or business, real estate, equity in the operator, or a guarantee of app traffic. These functional rights do not decide the legal classification of an offer. The canonical token exists on Ethereum Sepolia. An activated destination space is a recorded snapshot, not a second transferable NFT. A website name is a directory label; changing that label does not change ownership or the on-chain information field. Possessing the token does not appoint its holder as an agent of the operator or of an independent application. Supply, mint and tolls The current testnet collection has a maximum of 1,111 public Deeds, no reserved NFT allocation, a mint price of 0.001 test ETH and one public mint per wallet. Mint proceeds go to the deployment’s protocol treasury. The default toll is USD 0.01; the owner may set it from USD 0 to USD 2. This cap applies only to the Deed toll, not app prices, deposits, permissions or network gas. For a successful integrated execution, 90% of the toll is allocated under the owner’s recipient configuration and 10% to the protocol treasury. Up to ten optional recipient wallets can share the owner allocation. Actual receipts depend on usage, configuration, price availability and recipient acceptance; they may be zero. No return, appreciation, liquidity or minimum payment is promised. The mint limit is one public mint per wallet, not a promise that one person can obtain only one Deed or that secondary transfers are restricted. Once a wallet has used its mint, transferring its NFT does not restore the mint right. No reserved mint path exists in this deployed collection. Recipient percentages divide the owner allocation and must total 100% when a custom list is used. With no custom recipients, the owner is the recipient. Native-unit rounding can leave a small remainder with the final recipient. The split applies to the Deed toll, not to an application's own revenue, deposited assets or business. Choosing a zero toll produces no toll allocation. Transfer and destination activation Ethereum follows the canonical NFT. Each destination retains its last activated owner and recipient configuration until the current owner authorizes and confirms an update there. The new owner pays applicable activation transaction costs. A transfer clears canonical custom recipients but does not instantly replace remote settings. There is no retroactive compensation in this protocol mechanism. Minted Deeds remain active; this does not guarantee network or oracle availability. The collection increments its configuration revision on a transfer and clears custom recipients. The toll and information field do not automatically reset to the default. On Sepolia the Runtime reads the canonical collection; on a destination it reads the last accepted snapshot. A name change in the website directory does not publish a destination snapshot. The website checks the current owner and source finality before issuing a trusted testnet activation attestation. The owner then submits an activation transaction on each selected destination. Until that transaction succeeds, the older destination owner and allocation can still receive that destination's tolls. Check every relevant network after a purchase or configuration change; there is no automatic cross-network settlement or reimbursement for an earlier snapshot. Payment rejection and royalties Use recipients able to accept bounded native-currency transfers. A rejected allocation goes to the treasury and creates no later on-chain claim for that recipient. Other recipients continue receiving. A treasury payment failure reverts the whole operation; gas may still be consumed. This describes the contract mechanism, not a waiver of mandatory legal remedies. The current collection declares 10% resale royalties to its deployment wallet under ERC-2981. Marketplace enforcement varies. Ordinary free transfers do not collect a sale fee. Resale royalties are separate from the 10% protocol toll share and do not follow the new NFT holder. Verify the current collection and treasury under Contracts. Each native payment has a bounded gas allowance. An address may accept ordinary transfers yet reject this bounded payment. A rejecting recipient's allocation is redirected in that execution; it is not escrowed and the contract exposes no later withdrawal balance for it. Other recipients' successful payments survive only if the whole execution succeeds. An application or treasury failure reverts the execution and its payments together. The royalty recipient is the collection's treasury fixed at deployment. The ERC-2981 royalty declaration tells a marketplace a recipient and amount; it does not compel every marketplace or peer-to-peer transaction to pay. It creates no resale royalty entitlement for an NFT holder and does not change the separate owner toll allocation. Personal and commercial use of art To the extent the operator controls the relevant rights, the lawful current holder receives a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt the specific artwork assigned to that NFT for personal and commercial use, including products, media and promotion of the holder’s own business. This is an art licence, not a transfer of copyright or trademark rights. It does not create a royalty payable to the operator on those art uses. Third-party rights and applicable law remain respected. No licence is granted to the VOIDS or Voiddeeds names, logos or trademarks, underlying trait files, other NFTs’ artwork or third-party assets. You may truthfully identify your NFT but must not imply official endorsement, register the project’s marks or use the artwork for unlawful activity. The project may continue showing collection artwork in its own documentation, directory and collection promotion. The holder licence follows lawful ownership. On transfer, the former holder must stop creating new products or granting new art permissions; rights for future uses pass to the new holder. Previously published lawful posts and copies already sold do not need to be recalled. No ongoing sublicence survives beyond the holder’s own rights. The licence concerns the artwork referenced by the NFT's metadata. The current collection uses a shared collection image; token ownership does not promise a unique image or exclusive use of that image. Other lawful holders can have permission to use the same artwork. You may make ordinary crops, edits and adaptations within this licence, while respecting third-party rights. You may engage a printer, designer or other service provider to carry out your permitted use on your behalf. You remain responsible for that use and cannot grant a broader or longer right than you hold. Neither an adaptation nor a commercial product grants ownership of the underlying collection artwork or permission to extract and redistribute the project's source trait library. Lawful ownership of the canonical NFT determines the holder for this licence. A destination snapshot, copied image, marketplace listing, loan of a file or terms signature alone does not establish that ownership. Upon a lawful transfer the new holder receives the holder licence, subject to these conditions. A former holder may retain archival copies and previously lawful publications but must stop new commercial exploitation after transfer. Copyright and any authors' non-waivable rights remain with their respective owners. This grant extends only to rights the operator can grant and does not assert that an artist has assigned every right. You are responsible for rights in extra music, fonts, photographs or other material you add. No registration, endorsement or partnership with the project follows from commercial use of the art.
